Jan Stel
Jen Stel is very inspirational for my approach to ManVsNature as her shots of the desolate cars, shows how nature grows around the cars. My interpretation of her shots make me think the world has taken a dystopian turn. All the abandoned cars that have been left to decay due to an event that drew the human race away from their homes. The cars have been taken over by nature as moss grows on the surfaces and branches branch out and wrap around the vehicles.
This image from Jan Stel's collection relates to my theme perfectly as it shows that the vehicle has been left unattended for many years and nature has decided its going to claim it for itself.
I love the level of detail that has been captured in this shot, it shows the level of detail that nature has.
