His photography is a good example of what humans have accomplished within the span of their existence. The buildings in his shots is a good example of what Man Vs Nature is going towards, Nature makes jungles using trees, Human make jungles out of concrete and bricks.
I feel like Nico Gooddens work is a good starting point to start research into the Man Vs Nature theme due to this.

This shot here, This is the Kew Gardens Palm House. The palm house in kew gardens is a good example of how humans and nature work together. The palm house houses many kinds of plants in artificial habitats which are able to sustain life.
You can see in this screenshot that inside the main building is a variety of different species of greenery thriving.
